[Austin, TX] — Kids’ Chance of Texas (KCTX) has received two grants totaling $25,000 from IICF to further our mission of ensuring no child, whose parent was killed or catastrophically injured on the job, is unable because of lack of support, to have the advantage of post-high school training and education. KCTX is incredibly grateful to receive these grants.
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) is an organization that helps communities and enriches lives by uniting the collective strength of the insurance industry in providing grants, volunteer service and leadership. The grants, a $10,000 grant in the fall of 2024, and a $15,00 grant this year will go directly to supporting scholarships for Texas children and young adults to go to college or receive other training. To date, KCTX has helped over 70 students attend college by providing them with over 300 semester scholarships.
